It was decided to prototype key features of the new tracker on develop board before starting detail of hardware and firmware design. We choose the Atmel ATSAML21 processor for the design, so used the ATSAML21-XPRO-B development board under Atmel Studio Version 7. The development board has powerful debug capability including power profiling.
