Electroencephalogram-Project

This project is based around the construction and modifcation of an instructables DIY electroencephalogram aimed at providing communication via neural firing patterns using current AI strategies. The foundation of this project lies at <![CDATA[]]>https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-EEG-and-ECG-Circuit/<![CDATA[]]>. Here you will find every aspect as to how to create the EEG yourself, and will help with understanding every aspect of the foundation of this project as well.

Getting started

  1. Download <![CDATA[]]>KiCad<![CDATA[]]>
  2. In the top-right corner of this CADLAB repository, press "Download Files"
  3. Open the the EEG_CircuitBoard.pro file with KiCad

Circuit Board Components

There is a list of components listed on the Github <![CDATA[]]>Wiki<![CDATA[]]>. This includes their datasheets as well.

Functionality of the Circuit Board

If there are any questions about how the actual EEG signal processing method works, I've included a <![CDATA[]]>Wiki<![CDATA[]]> giving full details about the whole process, with links for each important note. If there are any additional questions as to the functionality of the board, or future functionality of the board, please ask me.

IEEE Lab

If you are on the Computer/Electrical Engineering team, it is required that you have access to the <![CDATA[]]>Undergraduate Hardware Lab<![CDATA[]]> since this lab gives access to soldering and extra resources for our board's components. As of right now, if you are not on the Computer/Electrical Engineering team, it is not required to have this access, however, it is highly recommended. There may come a point in time where this lab will be needed by all teams.
