🚨 Fix all DRC issues! For real! Still have to check clearance to board outline later on, mostly for the jack connector’s pads. Other half can probably be started now! Or maybe I try to make this one reversible, that would be cool, but required two-sides assembly because of the LEDs. This evening was pretty productive, good night!

✨ Route LED power rails

🐛 Fix matrix traces Had to be moved because of the outline change on the top right switch.

🔧 Refine board constraints and components positions I think this time is the one! The encoder will be able to accept 20 mm knobs which I feel are better to use.

⏪️ Put the USB connector back down (recessed) Because most cables used with the keyboard will be straights (and not right angled), I prefer to just recess the connector and keep 2 mm margin on each side for the male connector to fit in. That makes the PCB more rigid overall (compared to having that 2 mm-wide finger for the through-hole pads of the connector), but of course prevents the use of most right-angled connectors.

✨ Route LED power and decoupling

✨ Finish board outline Fix thumb cluster’s rounded corners. Add rounded corners near connectors. Add milled slots for USB-C connector’s corners.

✨ Update lots of stuff (and make the thumb cluster round)

♻️ Replace LED and reroute them They are flipped on odd rows to have a better layout not requiring any layer switch because of the new LED footprint with mouse ears.
